The Daily Lesson

"THE DAILY LESSON", an ongoing open class by Infinite Way Teacher Al Denninger, is inspired by the message of Joel S. Goldsmith. In this Book Study we delve into Joel's books paragraph by paragraph, from cover to cover. I provide Scripture supporting his entire Work and an Impartation from my daily Experience. These classes appear on my website and by email subscription each day, for my students to take into their daily meditations and to carry with them throughout their day.

We are currently studying the book "THE CONTEMPLATIVE LIFE" By Joel S Goldsmith
On Sept 28th, 2025, we began Chapter 4 "The Esoteric Meaning of Easter Week"

STUDENTS NOTE:In my teaching, the words that are capitalized throughout the work are not capitalized for emphasis. Instead, the purpose is to Lift the student into the Awareness that these words are a Synonym for, or an Activity of God. The portions that are italicizedare spontaneous meditations.

At the conclusion of each chapter the Lessons are posted to the IWSO Archives, where there are over 15 years of consecutive Lessons for your further review and study!

The Daily Lesson – January 9, 2026

“But always remember that the final demonstration you make alone. Jesus made it without mother, without father, without sister, without brother, even though in the end they all came back to him.” Joel S Goldsmith

2 Peter 3:13 KJV
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Romans 8:21 KJV
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Romans 8:38-39 KJV
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When we finally seek the Truth and nothing else, the final destination is the Truth, and we will joyfully Rest in It. In returning, the New Jerusalem is filled with Glorious Liberty and Life Eternal. ~Al Denninger

“Everyone who attains, attains for himself, within himself. All such are fortunate if they find a teacher who can be a help to them for a time; they are fortunate if they find companions on the way with whom they can share many hours, many experiences, and who can help.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

John 16:32-33 KJV
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 14:26-27 KJV
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Philippians 4:7 KJV
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Isaiah 26:3 KJV
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Philippians 2:1-2 KJV
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

We shall be taught what we need by God when we are ready and willing to receive. Isn’t it wonderful how teachers seem to show up in our lives to point the Way. Sometimes we strive to be like them; sometimes we walk with them for a while; and sometimes we pass by and walk alone. Be still and be Led by the Shepherd. Gather together with the like-minded as we lift each other up. Where two of three are gathered, I Am with them in Oneness. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – January 7, 2026

“Only those who have received the light can know what a terrible struggle it is before it comes. Moses was alone on the Mount when he received his light, and it must have been a tremendous struggle before it broke through. He had to be alone to struggle out of his humanhood into the realization of his divine nature and mission. Remember how Moses even refused the mission, how he felt himself unworthy and ill-prepared, and that, too, he had to fight out within himself until he could come to the realization that this was not his message or his mission: It was God's, and he would let God use his body, God would have to talk for him, and through him.’ ~Joel S Goldsmith

Isaiah 9:2 KJV
2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

John 1:4-5 KJV
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

2 Corinthians 4:6-7 KJV
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

Ephesians 5:8-14 KJV
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

In the Experience of Moses, Isaiah, Jesus, and the Spiritual Revelator’s of times past, was an Active Presence of the Great Light of God. It shined in, and out and through them to dissolve darkness in the valley of the shadow of lies of their time. The Word of God is just as Present today and is patiently waiting for Disciples to Awake from their luke-warm coasting and Be about the Father’s Business. Is it time that you take up your cross and follow Christ? Walk as the children of Light you are. God will talk for you. ~Al Denninger

“The Final Step Must Be Taken Alone

The spiritual life is an individual life. There are ways of receiving help from a teacher and from one another, but the final battle and final victory are entirely individual matters, which must be fought out in the consciousness of each one of us. Jesus probably could have received a little support from his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane, he did not get very much, but the fact that he expected more showed that it was possible. But even if he had, he still had Golgotha, he still had the crucifix, and he still had the tomb. That had to be worked out in his own consciousness.” Joel S Goldsmith

Luke 9:23 KJV
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Matthew 26:36-38 KJV
36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

John 13:33 KJV
33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come;

Jesus Path and Experience was His alone as is ours. He asked for help, and so can we. The Journey and the destination are in Spirit. No matter what, we must rely on God. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – January 5, 2026

“So do not be surprised or disappointed if you fall down or fail many times. Everyone who has been this way before you has done the same. There are no great spiritual lights who have not come up through trials and tribulations of one sort or another, and probably those who have the greatest love in their hearts, those who have the greatest spiritual gifts of all, are those who have most deeply experienced failure and, therefore, know what it means to walk with us in our failures. Those who have risen highest and can still look down to where they were are the ones who help us the most on the way. Those who do not understand forgiveness do not understand love, and those who do not understand love do not understand the Spirit of the Lord God Almighty.” Joel S Goldsmith

Proverbs 24:16 ESV
16 For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.

James 1:2-4 KJV
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Matthew 18:21-22 KJV
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 KJV
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Psalm 23:6 KJV
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Father, I have fallen and failed many times in my life... I was weak or coasting and did not Dwell in You, or seek you first... Forgive me and teach me to forgive myself first and then everyone who has ever trespassed against me… I Trust You Father to be my Shepherd… Your Grace is my sufficiency… I am so Grateful to Know that You are with me right Now… May Your Goodness and Mercy follow me all the days of my Life as I continue to Dwell in You… I long to be your servant forever… I Love You. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – January 4, 2026

“If overnight you do not find yourself in that land of milk and honey, remember that it took Moses forty years to get there. It took Elijah quite a long time before he found the seven thousand who had not bowed their knees to Baal and who were saved out for him. It took Jesus three years to fulfill his spiritual ministry, and even then he had to encounter actual death before he could experience Resurrection and Ascension.” Joel S Goldsmith

Deuteronomy 8:2-3 KJV
2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.
3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

John 6:63 KJV
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Our journey may have appearances of dangers, difficulties and time, but what of it? The experiences in the flesh profiteth nothing, it is the Experiences in Spirit that Quickeneth and brings a Life of God. Look Up and ye shall See with Eyes to See. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – January 3, 2026

“You will not, however, find yourself instantly one hundred percent free. There are still periods of sickness and even periods of lack, or periods of temptation to sin, and maybe even some falling by the wayside and some sinning. Everyone stumbles: some physically, some mentally, some morally, some financially. The sin is not to stumble, but to stumble and never rise again. To pick one's self up after a fall and begin all over again is the spiritual way, a way for which the Master provided when he reminded us to forgive unto seventy times seven. And if we are supposed to forgive seventy times seven, surely the heavenly Father forgives seven thou sand times seventy times-without limit.” Joel S Goldsmith

Luke 15:11-32 KJV
11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.
26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.
32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

The Father always Loves all of His children unconditionally. No matter how we stumble, all are welcome in the Fathers House, always. When we Awake and return Home from a distraction we will be forgiven and Loved as always—as if nothing ever happened. You see, the Father’s Love and Abundance is Infinite, and all that the Father hath is always Present. He Knows no lack.

Sin is a sense of separation from God the Father. An erring child must repent, surrender and acknowledge the Father’s Love and abundance, but they must also forgive themselves as the Father does—unconditionally. Without complete forgiveness and gratitude there will be no yielding of appearances and no healing. Never accept a lie even if the serpent is very convincing. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – January 2, 2026

“Do you see why the Master said, ‘Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it?’ The world hopes that by going to church on Sunday it can enter into God's grace, but Scripture is very clear about that when it reminds us, ‘Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Abide in me, and I in you.’ Dwell, live, move, and have your being in the ‘secret place of the most High.’ Then you are not of the earth, earthy. Then you are abiding in God, in Spirit where the human mind and its activities cannot reach you, where the laws of matter do not function, and you find yourself free.” Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Isaiah 26:2-3 KJV
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Proverbs 3:6 KJV
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Acts 17:28 (to ;) KJV
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

Psalms 91:1
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalms 23:6 KJV
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

I remember from my Sunday school days, the church my family attended defined Church as: “the structure of Truth and Love”. I always Knew that was right, and so it never left me. While the form of many modern church services is generally to be entertained and inspired by emotion, there is an Inspired further step if we so choose. We must diligently Entertain Within our Heart a Present Consciousness of Truth and Love in all that we do—and stay there in All our Ways. As we do, we will most certainly Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High House of the Lord forever. My this-world journey admittedly has had many distractions over the years, not because I wanted to stumble, but every single time I erred I was distracted because I lost my sharp Focus on God. The Daily Lesson – January 1, 2026

“With that in your mind, day in and day out, you are abiding in the Word and letting the Word abide in you, and you will bear fruit richly. No one has the right to feel safe or secure in this world, unless he is living in that Word and letting that Word abide in him, unless he is living and moving and having his being in God-realization, acknowledging God in all his ways, in short, unless he is releasing his life into God.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

John 8:31-32 KJV
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

1 John 3:24 KJV
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Proverbs 3:6 KJV
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Matthew 16:24-25 KJV
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

How do we Know that we are Abiding? Not by our own thoughts—but by the Spirit that He has Given us. At the point of Realizing the Truth, we Live by Way of Spirit because Christ Liveth our Life. And so, we can wholeheartedly acknowledge that there is One Life Infinitely Expressed As. God Is. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – December 31, 2025

“Then one day, as if in great big electric lights, the first verse stood out: ‘He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.’ It does not promise immunity to every body. It promises immunity to those that dwell ‘in the secret place of the most High.’ No one is safe from the snare or from the pit until inwardly he can make this agreement:

I am not living in a material world of time and space. I live and move and have my being in God: I am that man who has his being in Christ. I live with God; I walk with God; I hold my mind steadfast in God; I acknowledge Him in all my ways. In quietness and in confidence, I rest in the assurance of God's presence: God in me, and I in God.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Psalms 91:1
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Romans 8:5&9 KJV
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Zechariah 4:6 KJV
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

John 14:17 KJV
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Acts 17:28 (to ;) KJV
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

If we acknowledge this world as power we are subject to this-world’s distractions—and if so be we are distracted we don’t yet Know the Truth. We must leave behind the thought that we of our own selves have any power, and Trust God enough to Consciously Dwell in His Kingdom. And so, Be still and Know that I Am God, and we will Live and Move and have our Being in Christ. If so Be the Spirit of Truth Dwells in us what more can we want or need? The Daily Lesson – December 30, 2025

“To illustrate that point, I recall the many, many years that I could not understand the 91st Psalm. It did not make sense to me when it promised that none of these things would come nigh my dwelling place because they did come nigh my dwelling place, and what is more, I saw them come nigh the dwelling place of all my friends and relatives, too, as well as all the other people that I met in the world. When the time came that I understood all Scripture as having an inner meaning, I prayed, ‘What is the inner meaning of this much loved Psalm? What does it mean?’” ~Joel S Goldsmith

James 1:5-8 KJV
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Matthew 7:7-8 KJV
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Jeremiah 33:3 KJV
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Psalm 25:4-5 KJV
4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

The act of asking God for understanding is not a casual inquiry. We should not give up when we don’t hear the answer we expect. There is a full commitment involved on our part. We must surrender all, and commit to an unconditional waiting… The answer may Come, but we don’t understand that it is likely beyond words and thoughts, so we don’t recognize it and think we have failed. The Comforter may Come as a Feeling of: “I Am with you now”—but we are expecting a direct answer to a human this-world question or problem. After all, the answer: “I Am with you now”, is the most wonderful thing to ever Know. We are in the Presence of Perfect Love, and if so, what harm could come nigh our dwelling place. All Good is possible.

From my experience, I rarely receive a direct answer as such. But I always wait until I Feel a Loving Assurance of Peace. We must choose to Dwell in Spirit, enter into our secret place, and Open an Avenue of Awareness to Spiritual Consciousness, without conditions. We must come to the end of all of our ideas and questions and wait in stillness, in infinite patience and confident faithful assurance and wait—as long as it takes. We are not waiting for God to be Present and answer, we are waiting for us to understand and open the Door. The Truth is always the Truth—but do we have Ears to Hear? We will all be Taught of God, but we have to learn to Recognize the Presence of the Truth Experience. If we come away from a meditative state in an upbeat, warm or joyful Knowing we are on the right track… Continue on… ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – December 29, 2025

"As you read Scripture, do not read page after page. Read only a small portion at a time, whether the passage is one sentence or whether it is an entire story, such as the experience of Elijah being fed in the wilderness, or Moses' experience in leading the Hebrews out of slavery and carrying them through the wilderness, or some one or another particular phase of Jesus ministry. Then meditate and contemplate, asking for inner light on the esoteric meaning of those passages. Only trust, and it will be given to you." ~Joel S Goldsmith

Proverbs 2:1-6 KJV
1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 6:33 KJV
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

John 4:24 KJV
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 6:63 (to :) KJV
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:

After all the years of writing the message of “The Daily Lesson” I find it hard to read scripture or Inspired Writings in any kind of bulk. I usually can’t make it through a part of a sentence without stopping and taking it within for a while. The answer is not at the end of the paragraph or the end of the book like in a mystery novel. The answer is within the Experience of pondering and Meditation. It Comes from God in the moment we can Hear it—and it Comes as the exact Word we need to Hear—and in a Way that we can use It today. Tomorrow, even if we reread the same passage, there will be something else we Need to Know. Righteousness Comes in Spirit, to Spirit. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – December 28, 2025

“This is the esoteric meaning of exoteric teaching. In other words, what is plainly set forth for all to read in the scriptures of all peoples of the world are exoteric teachings, but each one of these has an esoteric meaning, that is, the outer teachings all have inner or hidden meanings. For example, to go through the ritual of a communion service may provide a measure of satisfaction to many communicants, but this is not the real importance of that ritual. The experience of communion takes place within one's Self when the true meaning of being fed the bread or the wine of communion is realized and understood. The real communion is the understanding of the meaning of being fed spiritually, of being fed by I: I am the bread of life, I am the water, I am the blood; I am the resurrection; I am life eternal. When we understand that, then either the outer communion takes on greater meaning, or it becomes meaningless because now we have that which is greater than the outer form: we have the inner realization.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 16:13-19 KJV
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

John 6:63 KJV
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The keys to Heaven is that He is the Living Christ of the Living God; the Living Consciousness of Christ; the I that Christ Is, the Living Life of I Am; the Living and Perfect Expression of God. We shall all be Taught by God, that is where the Truth Comes from. Look for the Spiritual interpretation of Scripture in between the lines. The “I” Consciousness, or Christ Consciousness is the inner Realization that Comes from God. The Daily Lesson – December 27, 2025

“When we begin to understand this from a spiritual standpoint, we shall know that it is literally true: not that God provides a rock or a high tower, or a fortress, but that God is Himself the safety, and therefore, those who live and move and have their being in God need take no thought for any material form of protection. This is important to every one of us because from every side there are threatening dangers: infection, contagion, accident, wars, bombs, and a thousand other things. But none of these can come nigh our dwelling place, if our thought is not on physical safety and security, but is held steadfastly to the realization of God as the temple in which we live, the hiding place, the fortress, and the rock.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

John 4:24 KJV
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 & 16-21 KJV
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;

Psalm 91:9-10 KJV
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Matthew 6:31-33 KJV
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The Daily Lesson – December 26, 2025

“If we were to consider the subject of safety and security, we would immediately, in all probability, begin thinking in terms of some tangible kind of protection, which might take the form of a bombproof shelter, a bulletproof vest, or a gas mask. Yet these are not necessary, although at times they may be provided, even though no one has to take thought for them or be concerned about them because Scripture reveals that God is a fortress, a high tower, a hiding place, and an abiding place. God is a rock.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Psalms 6:1-6 KJV
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalms 18:1-2 KJV
1 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalms 91:1 KJV
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

As we Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High we are Led by Our Father—our Shepherd. He will not go anywhere without us nor can we go anywhere without Him. He is our Source, our Protector, our Supplier, our Strength and Salvation. The lies in valley of the shadow of death can cause us no harm. Why? Because they are appearances. When? “Jesus had no hesitancy in urging his disciples to take no thought for what they should eat or what they should drink.

He hesitated not one bit in telling his disciples to set forth on their journey without purse or scrip. From the human standpoint he was not at all practical, yet he is our way-shower and, strangely enough, we shall find if we obey his teachings, that it is very practical to go without purse and without scrip and without taking thought for how anything will be met, because there is an Infinite Invisible. Jesus called It the Father within; Paul called It the Christ, that Something which is and becomes tangibly visible as the bread, water, and wine, the safety, security, and the peace. Spiritual teachings go far beyond merely assuring us of food and clothing and housing.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 10:7-11 KJV
7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.

Luke 15:31 KJV
31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

Philippians 4:19 KJV
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Take no thought for the baubles of this-world. The Kingdom of God is at hand—it always was—and always will Be. The Father already Knows what you need—and those Righteous things will be Given you. “Thy Will be Done, in earth as it Is in Heaven.” ~Al Denninger

“The Esoteric Meaning of Exoteric Teachings

A spiritual teaching penetrates beneath every human symbol to its spiritual meaning. So whether it is a holiday or holy day, whether it is a relationship, a business, or a government, behind every one of these activities there is a spiritual principle involved, and when that principle is understood and applied in daily life, we are living the mystical or spiritual life, the life that the Master showed us how to live.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

2 Corinthians 3:3-6 KJV
3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Matthew 6:33 (to :) KJV
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;

2 Corinthians 3:12-18 KJV
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

John 8:32 KJV
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

“With this in mind, do you not see that in the ascension we break every material law and find that man has his being in Christ? The spiritual son is fed from that same spiritual source from which our relationship has been fed and which has maintained us in this relationship through these years. There is no limit to the spiritual demonstration that we can make, except such limitation as we bring upon ourselves by not thoroughly crucifying that personal sense of self.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Acts 17:28 (to ;) KJV
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being;

John 15:5 KJV
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Colossians 3:1-4 KJV
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

John 14:12 KJV
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Luke 9:23 KJV
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

“For many years in the Infinite Way we have demonstrated that spiritually we really are of one household. All of you who have been a part of this work since the early days and in the years that have followed have seen in actual practice the most beautiful relationship that can be manifested on this earth, and that without a single tie of human relationship.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

1 John 4:8 KJV
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

John 4:24 KJV
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Ephesians 3:16-19 KJV
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Romans 8: KJV
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

God’s Love is impersonal and It Freely Flows in Spirit to Spirit and from Soul to Soul. When we are Led by the Spirit we bear witness to the Divine Flow. “There is an indication of that in the passage that is in the beginning of every Infinite Way book and booklet: ‘Illumination dissolves all material ties and binds men together with the golden chains of spiritual understanding.’ We do not have to be blood brothers and blood sisters; we do not even have to be brothers or sisters through nationality, or religious brothers and sisters, for we have a holier tie than any human relationship that has ever been conceived. There is a spiritual tie that unites us because we have risen above the belief that we have to be members of one particular human family, racial, religious, or national, in order to be united in a fellowship of love and understanding.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

“Illumination dissolves all material ties and binds men together with the golden chains of spiritual understanding; it acknowledges only the leadership of the Christ; it has no ritual or rule but the divine, impersonal universal Love; no other worship than the inner Flame that is ever lit at the shrine of Spirit. This union is the free state of spiritual brotherhood. The only restraint is the discipline of Soul; therefore, we know liberty without license; we are a united universe without physical limits, a divine service to God without ceremony or creed. The illumined walk without fear—by Grace” ~From “The Infinite Way” by Joel S. Goldsmith

Psalm 127 (to :) KJV
1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it:

John 13:34 KJV
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Ephesians 4:4-6 KJV
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

We are that unusual group of students and disciples that Seek the Kingdom of God first. We learn to Be still and Feel the Infinite unconditional Love of God. Not to ask for anything, or for any other reason but to just Love God, with no ritual or rules. We just Love to sit at His Feet and Be… Spiritual Discernment and Freedom are Gifted Secretly in the Silence.

When we Feel this Love we must Love every other individual Expression of God with the same commitment and fervor as we are all one in body and One in Spirit. When we Dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High we Know that God is the Vine and we are the branches—there can’t be one without the other—because Omnipresence tells us that there can be no other. “By virtue of what? He had no gold mines or oil wells, but he had the grace of God; he had his being in Christ, he knew that ‘I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.’ Therefore, he could relax and let this spirit of divine sonship be his bread, his meat, wine, water, and his resurrection and life eternal. When the transition has been made from that man of earth to that man who has his being in Christ, then we find the readiness for the ascension, the ascension which is a rising above every material tie.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 6:19-21 KJV
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

1 Timothy 6:17-19 KJV

“Saul of Tarsus was thoroughly crucified. He not only went blind on the road to Damascus; he ‘died.’ And out of that tomb stepped Paul, no longer Saul of Tarsus, but Paul: Paul, a man who had his being in Christ and who now lived by the grace of God, a man who traveled not only the Holy Lands, but Rome and Greece, wherever he would, by the grace of God, a man who set up seven churches and found that those seven churches could not support him or his missionary work, but they, looking to him, found that he could support all seven churches.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Acts 9: KJV
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized. 19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

In Acts 9, Saul/Paul was crucified of his former life, he then surrendered, and was healed by the Spirit of God that Raised him from the dead-to-Christ to do the Works of Christ. 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

“Paul envisioned this when he revealed to us the two men that we are, each one of us a dual being. We were born the man of earth, and that is what we remain until the crucifixion. That is what we remain as long as we are in the business of glorifying and building up self. But Paul tells us of that other Self which we are, that man who has his being in Christ, that spiritual man or divine Self. That is the man you and I are when we can say, ‘I can do all things through Christ.’ Those are the magic words: ‘I can do all things through Christ, through the Spirit of God in me, through the presence of the Father within me.’” ~Joel S Goldsmith

1 Corinthians 15:45-49 KJV
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Romans 8:5-9 KJV
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

“Easter: The Rising Above All Material Ties That brings us to the Resurrection when, after having died to personal sense and having entombed that false sense of self, our true Self rises out of that tomb of the little self and walks this earth free: free and infinite, immortal and eternal, full of God-being. That is our Easter, our day of ascension, and we find that in our self-renunciation, as in our humility, we have stepped out of a tomb. We are walking the earth now, not full of personal possessions or personal virtues, but filled with the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of the Lord God Almighty which is upon us, and then, we are ordained. Now that material sense has been thoroughly quenched, our real nature, our real being, can come to light.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 19:26 KJV
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

John 14:10 KJV
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

When I take no thought I have no conscious awareness of self—my self is no more. But I can clearly Hear, See and Feel that which I Am—not with the self, but with the Christ that Liveth in Me.

The Daily Lesson – December 13, 2025

“This man is a monumental figure. He really had everything: He had God, the Father within, and because he had God, he could share infinity with everyone who lacked, whether it was water or wine, bread or meat, or at the final breakfast, fish. It made no difference what it was: he had it to share, yet he always reminded us that of his own self he could do nothing: ‘If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.... Why callest thou me good?’ ~Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 16:13-16 KJV
13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

John 5:30,31 KJV
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

Luke 18:18,19 KJV
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

The Christ is the Perfect Instrument of God. Always Sharing, always Giving and always Expressing the Good of the Father that we may See. Christ is the Way-shower that Is and Was and Always will Be about the Business of the Father. Jesus was the visible Activity of Good and the embodiment of: “Thy Will be Done, in earth as it Is in Heaven”. Follow Him. ~Al Denninger

“As we ponder these statements, as well as all the other teachings of Jesus in the Gospels, we come to the realization that what this man is saying in substance is, ‘I have nothing, but I have everything. I have not where to lay my head, but I have food with which to feed five thousand and twelve baskets full left over.’ He had meat the world knew not of, he had water that sprang up into life eternal.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

Matthew 8:20 KJV
20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Matthew 14:14-21 KJV
14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

John 4:31-32 KJV
31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

This world is full of distractions that try to make us think we are limited or lacking in some way. But in Reality, as Christ Knows, all that the Father hath is thine. There can never be an expression of God in need. At the scene of the feeding of the multitude, Christ Jesus without hesitation, Looked Up and Blessed the Abundance before Him. He Knew the Omnipresence of God and passed out the loaves and fishes. Where the Spirit of the Lord is Realized, there is Meat the world does not know of. Man does not Live by bread alone. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – December 11, 2025

“When Jesus seemed to be in lack at the well of Samaria, and the disciples were concerned with bringing him meat, we note that he says, ‘I have meat to eat that ye know not of’; and to the woman at the well, ‘Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.’” ~Joel S Goldsmith

John 4:6-15 KJV
6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat. )
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

Father, I know the water that I have been drinking in this world is temporary, and it’s supply seems to come and go… There are moments of need and times of plenty... I crave the taste of delicious cool clear water, rich in the minerals of life, but there are also times when the water is luke-warm and tastes poorly and of low quality… It all seems so fleeting to my way of thinking… I have an inner thirst that never seems to be completely satisfied… I rest here now, alone, in secrecy and in silence, to Open an Avenue of Awareness to Realize the Pure Water of Life that is hidden deep within… Show me the Infinite Way, the Truth and the Life that I may Drink from the Source and be Satisfied… … … Speak Lord, thy servant is listening… ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – December 10, 2025

“Good Friday is a day in which we should contemplate and meditate upon the inner meaning of crucifixion. By going back to the Gospels, looking upon the Master as a symbol, a way shower, and reconstructing in our thought his life, ministry, crucifixion, and his resurrection, we can learn how he brought about the death of personal sense, how he avoided being overwhelmed by his problems, even when he had the serious problem of being faced with betrayal and death, and how, by refusing to consider his personal afflictions as problems, he was able to rise above all material sense in the glorious affirmation made when he stood before Pilate: ‘To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world,’ To him, neither life nor death was a problem.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

John 17:1-5 KJV
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

John 18:36-37 KJV
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Romans 8:28 KJV
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Christ is the Perfect Realization and Performance of the Will of God, and so the Perfect Exemplar. He is the Perfect Teacher for the Perfect Teaching. And so, when Asked by Him, do we follow, or do we coast? Follow Him and the old things pass away. ~Al Denninger

The Daily Lesson – December 9, 2025

“Good Friday: The Crucifixion of Personal Sense

Another holy day of the Easter week is Good Friday. Spiritually speaking, we do not celebrate the crucifixion of the physical form of Jesus. The lesson for us in the crucifixion of Jesus and in his resurrection on the third day is to show us the way to find life eternal. That way, the Master clearly revealed, is by means of the death of personal sense. To be resurrected from the tomb, we must die to our personal sense of life, because our personal sense of life is a tomb in which we lie buried. We must die to the belief that of our own limited selves we are something, that we have lives of our own, a mind, a soul, a way, and a will of our own. We are to die to the belief that we have possessions of our own, or any virtue, any life, any being, any harmony, or any success of our own.” ~Joel S Goldsmith

John 2:18-22 KJV
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Romans 12:1-2 KJV
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

1 Corinthians 15:31 I die KJV
31 ...I die daily.

Christ Jesus kept His promise and proved that no power in this world could destroy or remove the Temple of Christ. And, when he said, “render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's” he was telling us that we must focus on the Truth of Being, not what this-world thinks. We are God’s individual Expression—the Temple of the good, and acceptable, and the perfect will of God. Paul Knew this when he said, he dies daily. He Knew that there is no self, no thoughts, no Life and no power that is Separate from God. Be not conformed to ego. ~Al Denninger
